With the Plasa 2012 just around the corner, the excitement is building over what new and innovative products will be showcased throughout the show. This excitement also echoes the feeling towards the launch of TOA’s brand new Infrared Wireless Classroom System which will have its grand unveiling at this year’s Plasa show.

The IR-820SP combines a 5” 2-way coaxial speaker with a built in 20W Class D power amp and 360-degree IR sensor ring for reliable pickup from any direction. TOA’s patented Wide-Dispersion Technology provides even coverage throughout the room (a 170-degree coverage angle within the vocal range when ceiling-mounted at room center), avoiding “dead spots” commonly experienced with multi-speaker systems.

With huge success already throughout Japan, Canada and USA, the popular TOA Infrared Wireless Classroom System will be the grand attraction to the TOA stand, however there will be many more other TOA systems available for all to see during the course of the show. The products include the brand new plane wave speaker, the first look at TOA’s new horn array speaker, TOA’s recently upgraded channel 38 microphones and the award winning D-2000 system along with many more systems from the expansive TOA product range.

Also exhibiting on stand 1-F28 alongside TOA Corporation (UK) ltd is Trantec, TOA’s affiliate company which specialises in the finest wireless systems. Trantec will be showcasing the range of the coveted Racked ‘n’ Ready systems which has increasingly risen in popularity over the past few years. Alongside the Racked ‘n’ Ready Systems, visitors of the Trantec stand will also have the opportunity to receive a live demonstration of the systems at work with the variety of Trantec microphones – from handhelds to lavalier.
