One of the most difficult speaker requirements to satisfy is a cost-effective mid-size speaker system that offers high quality sound no matter what the application. TOA HS Series speakers are equipped with narrow-directivity control (90° horizontal x 40° vertical). This useful feature allows tailoring the speaker's dispersion characteristics to better suit the acoustic environment in which it is installed. The ability to adjust sound dispersion characteristics makes TOA HS Series speakers the optimal choice for venues with acoustical problems caused by high ceilings that tend to reduce the clarity of sound reproduction, such as in sports facilities, multipurpose halls and houses
...The TOA VM-3000 Series is a highly cost-effective combined emergency voice alarm system and public address system. The VM-3000 Series is ideal for small and medium-sized applications, such as shopping centres, retail stores, nursing homes, schools and fitness clubs. It incorporates such emergency voice alarm functions as continuous speaker line monitoring and a built-in voice alarm. This easy to install and set-up, all-in-one system also offers PA broadcasting, paging and BGM functions that operate with uncompromisingly high audio quality to ensure consistently high intelligibility. The VM-3000 Series is digitally audio processed and controlled, with full digital audio mixing and a built-in high-quality electronic voice message feature. The system may be set up directly using the controls and LCD display on the front panel, also enabling easy operation of the system. Operational versatility is further enhanced by a dedicated software configuration capability for entering and updating settings via a PC.
The BS-680F speaker has a strong, all-metal body, and is ideally suited for emergency broadcasting (voice alarm system) applications. The 6" (16cm) double cone speaker unit ensures highquality sound. It can be quickly and easily installed in either a horizontal or a vertical orientation. Either concealed in-wall wiring or exposed wiring can be used for speaker cable connection. A push-in type input connector allows easy cable connections and bridge wiring. The selectable input impedance can be easily adjusted by changing the top position of the unit’s transformer. Both wall and in-wall mounting are possible. The innovative structural design is based on the Golden Ratio (1: 1.618), and also permits direct wall installation with screws, making the speaker unit resistant to falling even if outward force is applied to it.
The SR-C8L is a 2-way Line Array Speaker featuring wave front control technology which creates a sound field with high sound clarity and uniform sound pressure. It can be converted into the bi-amplifier drive system by changing the internal connection.
Auto-mixing advantages
NOM (Number of Open Microphones) - automatically adjusts output level based on the total number of open microphones.Ducker function (Auto-Mute function) - automatically works to attenuate outputs of channels with low priority.
Highly effective feedback suppression.
The D-2000 Series provides feedback elimination for up to 4 channels.
In addition, each channel can control 12 problem frequencies. This
makes it convenient for feedback suppression in different areas of the
same hall. 2 versatile suppression modes.Either presettable Auto Mode or realtime Dynamic Mode can be selected to suit the situation and eliminate feedback.
Essential audio processing
Delay, High-, Low-Pass and Notch Filters, Parametric Equalizers, Compressor/Auto Leveller, Gate, Crossovers and Crosspoint Gain.
32 preset memories for user convenience.
Up to 32 different routing and parameter configurations can be stored in memory and called up to handle venues such as multi-purpose halls
and conference rooms that require frequent changes in staging, seating and speaker arrangements.
Intuitive GUI
The dedicated software’s graphic, visually attractive user interface
helps streamline settings and adjustments.
Mixing console option
The D-2008SP can be connected via network to the D-2012C mixing console with 12 motorized faders and 8 rotary encoders. This enables simplified mixing operation that suit non-professional users. Using the D-2012C, allows input and output channel signal levels to be monitored, volume changes made as well as recalling preset memory settings, and contact control.
VCA control
D-2000 Series units used in conjunction with the optional D-911 VCA
Fader Unit provides more of an analog mixer user interface.
RS-232C control
The RS-232C port allows external control when connected to external
devices such as AMX*1 and Crestron*2 control units. This also allows full control over venue lighting and power curtains (blackout) from a central remote location. This feature is particularly suited for AV presentation rooms, conference rooms and hotel banquet rooms.
Designed for stable voice transmission, thanks to two infrared emitters carefully located on a microphone body shape that helps prevent the emitters from being accidentally covered by a hand when holding the microphone.
SX-2000SM can be used in combination with an optional audio input unit, audio output unit, and remote microphone of the SX-2000 Series to make up a complete matrix system and can perform audio signal routing and priority control for the entire system. The SX-2000SM itself is equipped with 8 control inputs, 8 control outputs, failure status outputs, failure data inputs/switches, access indicators mode indicators and failure indicators enabling a wide rage of controls and status monitoring. Each control can be performed by way of a CF card inserted into the SX-2000SM unit. Operations of the entire system can be recorded and their contents stored on a CF card as an operation log.
The SX-2000SM also features two power inputs making possible the creation of a dualredundant power system.
The new DA Series digital multi-channel amplifiers are the latest addition to the TOA line of industry-standard audio products for installed sound. The DA Series is ideal for multi-zone distributed speaker systems and professional sound applications.
Engineered with Class D technology, the new DA Series amplifiers operate at 85 percent efficiency and consume almost one-third less power than conventional analog amplifiers. The compact and lightweight (14.6 lbs.) single rack-space design and ultra-low heat dissipation allow designers to rack-mount up to five units without open space between units.
The NEW TOA M-9000M2 Digital Matrix Mixer redefines the mixer category, by combining a modular matrix mixer and digital signal processor (DSP) in a compact two-rack package. This versatile new modular unit is ideal for multi-zone paging, music distribution and room-combining applications.
The M-9000M2 combines an enhanced GUI programming interface with exceptional audio quality.
The M-9000M2 enables easily configured custom systems with up to eight mic/line inputs and eight outputs. The M-9000M2 has two output channels with built-in DSP, including ten-band parametric EQ, compressor, delay, and more.
Input and output modules include additional DSP. A new integrated operating mode provides powerful functionality for both simple mixing and complex multi-zone paging applications. Features include telephone zone paging, automatic microphone mixing and ambient noise control.
But providing "the solution" depends on much more than delivering a bunch of boxed hardware to site.
It is not by accident that TOA has won major contracts over the past two years, including a sophisticated digital public address and emergency highway for the English National Opera at the London Coliseum, interfacing with the fire alarm system at the Millennium Dome, dealing with the voice evacuation requirements of the National History Museum and providing a digital networking system for the latest National Lottery-funded Millennium project, the magnificent Lowry complex at Salford Quays, where TOA's state of the art matrix processing enables different sound scenes to be configured and accessed on the fly from a laptop.
None of this would have happened had we merely supplied the hardware. At TOA we pride ourselves in being able to offer full design and technical support to the contracting companies, enabling them to evolve their own solutions with the building blocks that we are able to supply them.
